Biography
Michael is a passionate educator, mentor, and lifelong creative who makes tech accessible to everyone.
He's self-taught in game development, which earned him scholarships and an internship with engineering Military Simulations before he even begun his formal computer science studies at Seminole State and Simon Fraser University.
Over the years, Michael taught students across the K–12 range using tools like Scratch, Python, and Unity.
How do you support students who struggle with coding?
“I don’t believe some students ‘just don’t get it.’ With the right approach, patience, and encouragement, any student can build confidence and create amazing things.”
